Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

Afterwards Jesus called his disciples to him, and said: “My heart is moved at the sight of all these people, for they have already been with me three days and they have nothing to eat; and I am unwilling to send them away hungry; they might faint on the way home.”

Als Jesus aber seine Jünger herzugerufen hatte, sprach er: Ich bin innerlich bewegt über die Volksmenge; denn schon drei Tage weilen sie bei mir und haben nichts zu essen; und ich will sie nicht entlassen, ohne daß sie gegessen haben, damit sie nicht etwa auf dem Wege verschmachten.

Y Jesús llamando á sus discípulos, dijo: Tengo lástima de la gente, que ya hace tres días que perseveran conmigo, y no tienen qué comer; y enviarlos ayunos no quiero, porque no desmayen en el camino.

Jesus chamou a si os seus discípulos, e disse: Estou compadecido com a multidão, porque já há três dias que estão comigo, e não têm o que comer. E não quero os deixar ir em jejum, para que não desmaiem no caminho.

Jesus chamou a Si seus discípulos e disse: "Eu tenho compaixão dessa multidão, porque eles continuam Comigo por três dias e nada têm para comer. Eu não quero mandá-los embora sem comer, temo que eles desfaleçam no caminho".
