Depois me virei, e observei todas as opressões que são feitas abaixo do sol; e eis que vi as lágrimas dos oprimidos, que não tinham consolador; a força estava do lado dos seus opressores, porém eles não tinham quem os consolasse.

Mais uma vez, pensei sobre toda a opressão que ocorre debaixo do sol. Eis as lágrimas das pessoas oprimidas, e elas não tinham ninguém para confortá-las! O poder estava nas mãos de seus opressores, e não havia ninguém para trazer-lhes conforto!
