Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

saying, We strictly charged you not to teach in this name: and behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your teaching, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

“We gave you strict orders,” he said, “not to teach in this name. Yet you have actually flooded Jerusalem with your teaching, and you want to make us responsible for the death of this man.”

Wir haben euch streng geboten, in diesem Namen nicht zu lehren, und siehe, ihr habt Jerusalem erfüllt mit eurer Lehre und wollt das Blut dieses Menschen auf uns bringen.

Diciendo: ¿No os denunciamos estrechamente, que no enseñaseis en este nombre? y he aquí, habéis llenado á Jerusalem de vuestra doctrina, y queréis echar sobre nosotros la sangre de este hombre.

Não vos ordenamos expressamente para não ensinardes mais neste nome? E eis que vós enchestes a Jerusalém com vossa doutrina, e quereis trazer sobre nós o sangue deste homem!

dizendo: "Ordenamos expressamente que não ensinásseis nesse nome, ainda sim, enchestes Jerusalém com o vosso ensino e quereis lançar sobre nós o sangue desse homem".
