Und als man lange Zeit ohne Speise geblieben war, da stand Paulus in ihrer Mitte auf und sprach: O Männer! Man hätte mir freilich gehorchen und nicht von Kreta abfahren und dieses Ungemach und den Schaden nicht ernten sollen.

Entonces Pablo, habiendo ya mucho que no comíamos, puesto en pie en medio de ellos, dijo: Fuera de cierto conveniente, oh varones, haberme oído, y no partir de Creta, y evitar este inconveniente y daño.

E havendo muito tempo que não havia o que comer, então Paulo, ficando de pé no meio deles, disse: Homens, vós devíeis ter dado atenção a mim, e não terdes partido de Creta, e assim evitar esta situação ruim e prejuízo.

Estando eles há muito tempo sem comer, Paulo se levantou entre os marinheiros e disse: "Homens, devieis ter me ouvido, e não partir de Creta a fim de evitar este dano e perda.
