And Paul said, I would to God, that not only thou, but also all that hear me this day, were both almost, and altogether such as I am, except these bonds.

And Paul said, I would to God, that whether with little or with much, not thou only, but also all that hear me this day, might become such as I am, except these bonds.

“Whether it is soon or late,” answered Paul, “I pray to God that not only you, but all who are listening to me, might today become just what I am myself — except for these chains!”

Paulus aber sprach : Ich wollte zu Gott, daß über kurz oder lang nicht allein du, sondern auch alle, die mich heute hören, solche würden, wie auch ich bin, ausgenommen diese Bande.

Y Pablo dijo: ¡Pluguiese á Dios que por poco ó por mucho, no solamente tú, mas también todos los que hoy me oyen, fueseis hechos tales cual yo soy, excepto estas prisiones!

E Paulo disse: Meu desejo a Deus é que, por pouco ou por muito, não somente tu, mas todos os que estão me ouvindo hoje, tais vos tornásseis assim como eu sou, a não ser por estas correntes.

Paulo disse: "Oro a Deus que por pouco ou por muito, não apenas tu, mas também todos os que hoje me ouvem sejam como eu, porém sem estas correntes".
