No dia seguinte, o capitão chefe queria saber a verdade acerca das acusações dos judeus contra Paulo. Então, desataram suas amarras e ordenaram que os principais sacerdotes e todo o conselho dos judeus se reunissem. Assim, trazendo Paulo, apresentou-o diante deles.
