For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

This, too, is a reason why we, on our part, are continually thanking God — because, in receiving the teaching that you had from us, you accepted it, not as the teaching of humans, but as what it really is — the teaching of God, which is even now doing its work within you who believe in Christ.

Und darum danken wir auch Gott unablässig, daß, als ihr von uns das Wort der Kunde Gottes empfinget, ihr es nicht als Menschenwort aufnahmet, sondern, wie es wahrhaftig ist, als Gottes Wort, das auch in euch, den Glaubenden, wirkt.

Por lo cual, también nosotros damos gracias á Dios sin cesar, de que habiendo recibido la palabra de Dios que oísteis de nosotros, recibisteis no palabra de hombres, sino según es en verdad, la palabra de Dios, el cual obra en vosotros los que creísteis.

Por isso também agradecemos sem cessar a Deus, que, quando recebestes a palavra da Deus pregada por nós, a recebestes, não como palavra de homens, mas (conforme em verdade é) como a palavra de Deus, a qual também opera em vós, que credes.

Por isso nós também agradecemos a Deus constantemente. Pois, quando recebestes de nós a Palavra que ouvistes, não a aceitastes como palavra de homem, mas como ela realmente é, a Palavra de Deus. Essa é a Palavra que também age em vós, que credes.
