For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

because the good news that we brought came home to you, not merely as so many words, but with a power and a fulness of conviction due to the Holy Spirit. For you know the life that we lived among you for your good.

Denn unser Evangelium war nicht bei euch im Worte allein, sondern auch in Kraft und im Heiligen Geiste und in großer Gewißheit, wie ihr wisset, was wir unter euch waren um euretwillen.

Por cuanto nuestro evangelio no fué á vosotros en palabra solamente, mas también en potencia, y en Espíritu Santo, y en gran plenitud; como sabéis cuáles fuimos entre vosotros por amor de vosotros.

pois o nosso evangelho não foi até vós somente com palavras, mas também com poder, com o Espírito Santo, e com plena certeza; assim como sabeis de que maneira estivemos entre vós para o vosso benefício.

porque o nosso Evangelho não chegou até vós somente em palavra, mas também em poder no Espírito Santo e com toda convicção. Assim, sabeis qual tipo de homens éramos quando estávamos no meio de vós, agindo para o vosso bem.
