Und als die am anderen Tage des Morgens früh aufstanden, siehe, da lag Dagon auf seinem Angesicht auf der Erde vor der Lade Jehovas; und zwar lagen das Haupt Dagons und seine beiden Hände abgehauen auf der Schwelle, nur der Fischrumpf war an ihm übriggeblieben.

Y tornándose á levantar de mañana el siguiente día, he aquí que Dagón había caído postrado en tierra delante del arca de Jehová; y la cabeza de Dagón y las dos palmas de sus manos estaban cortadas sobre el umbral, habiéndole quedado á Dagón el tronco solamente.

E voltando-se a levantar de manhã o dia seguinte, eis que Dagom havia caído prostrado em terra diante da arca do SENHOR; e a cabeça de Dagom, e as duas palmas de suas mãos estavam cortadas sobre o umbral, havendo restado a Dagom o tronco somente.

Quando acordaram pela manhã do dia seguinte, observaram que Dagom havia caído, com o rosto em terra, diante da Arca de Yahweh. Sua cabeça e ambas as mãos haviam sido cortadas e deixadas na entrada. Somente o tronco de Dagom permaneceu.
