Da berief der König von Israel alle Ältesten des Landes und sprach: Erkennet doch und sehet, daß dieser Böses sucht; denn er hat zu mir gesandt um meine Weiber und meine Söhne, und um mein Silber und mein Gold, und ich habe es ihm nicht verweigert.

Entonces el rey de Israel llamó á todos los ancianos de la tierra, y díjoles: Entended, y ved ahora cómo éste no busca sino mal: pues que ha enviado á mí por mis mujeres y mis hijos, y por mi plata y por mi oro; y yo no se lo he negado.

Então o rei de Israel chamou a todos os anciãos da terra, e disse-lhes: Entendei, e vede agora como este não busca a não ser mal: pois que enviou a mim por minhas mulheres e meus filhos, e por minha prata e por meu ouro; e eu não se o neguei.

Então o rei de Israel reuniu todos os anciãos da terra e disse: "Por favor, anotai e vede como esse homem procura problemas. Ele enviou mensagens para mim pedindo minhas mulheres, crianças, minha prata e meu ouro, e eu não os neguei".
