So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man.

If, then, during her husband’s lifetime, she unites herself to another man, she will be called an adulteress; but, if her husband dies, the law has no further hold on her, nor, if she unites herself to another man, is she an adulteress.

So wird sie denn, während der Mann lebt, eine Ehebrecherin geheißen, wenn sie eines anderen Mannes wird; wenn aber der Mann gestorben ist, ist sie frei von dem Gesetz, so daß sie nicht eine Ehebrecherin ist, wenn sie eines anderen Mannes wird.

Así que, viviendo el marido, se llamará adúltera si fuere de otro varón; mas si su marido muriere, es libre de la ley; de tal manera que no será adúltera si fuere de otro marido.

Ou seja, enquanto o marido viver, ela será chamada de adúltera, se for de outro homem; mas depois de morto o marido, ela está livre da Lei, de maneira que não será adúltera se for de outro homem.

Então, se ela unir-se com outro homem enquanto seu marido estiver vivo, ela será chamada de adúltera. Porém, se seu marido morrer, ela estará livre da lei, de modo que não será adúltera se se casar com outro homem.
