Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

For God set him before the world, to be, by the shedding of his blood, a means of reconciliation through faith. And this God did to prove his righteousness, and because, in his forbearance, he had passed over the sins that people had previously committed;

welchen Gott dargestellt hat zu einem Gnadenstuhl durch den Glauben an sein Blut, zur Erweisung seiner Gerechtigkeit wegen des Hingehenlassens der vorher geschehenen Sünden unter der Nachsicht Gottes;

Al cual Dios ha propuesto en propiciación por la fe en su sangre, para manifestación de su justicia, atento á haber pasado por alto, en su paciencia, los pecados pasados,

Deus propôs Jesus por sacrifício de reconciliação, pela fé em seu sangue, para demonstrar a sua justiça. Ele deixou de considerar os pecados antes cometidos, sob a paciência de Deus,

Pois Deus ofereceu Jesus Cristo como propiciação pelo Seu sangue, por meio da fé. Ele ofereceu Cristo como uma prova da Sua justiça e, em Sua paciência, deixou de punir os pecados cometidos anteriormente.
