But those that encamp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.

Und die vor der Wohnung gegen Osten, vor dem Zelte der Zusammenkunft gegen Sonnenaufgang Lagernden waren Mose und Aaron und seine Söhne, welche der Hut des Heiligtums warteten, betreffs desjenigen, was den Kindern Israel oblag. Der Fremde aber, der herzunaht, soll getötet werden.

Y los que acamparán delante del tabernáculo al oriente, delante del tabernáculo del testimonio al levante, serán Moisés, y Aarón y sus hijos, teniendo la guarda del santuario en lugar de los hijos de Israel: y el extraño que se acercare, morirá.

E os que acamparão diante do tabernáculo ao oriente, diante do tabernáculo do testemunho ao levante, serão Moisés, e Arão e seus filhos, tendo a guarda do santuário em lugar dos filhos de Israel: e o estranho que se aproximar, morrerá.

Moisés, Arão e seus filhos devem acampar do lado leste do Tabernáculo, perante a Tenda do Encontro, voltados para o nascer do sol. Eles serão os responsáveis pelo cumprimento dos deveres do lugar santo, em prol do povo de Israel. Qualquer estrangeiro que se aproximar do lugar santo deverá ser morto.
