Und man beobachtet eifrig die Satzungen Omris und alles Tun des Hauses Ahabs, und ihr wandelt in ihren Ratschlägen: auf daß ich dich zum Entsetzen mache und ihre Bewohner zum Gezisch; und ihr werdet die Schmach meines Volkes tragen.

Porque los mandamientos de Omri se han guardado, y toda obra de la casa de Achâb; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados. Llevaréis por tanto el oprobio de mi pueblo.

Pois são os mandamentos de Onri, e todas as obras da casa de Acabe, que são obedecidos; e vós praticais seus conselhos. Por isso eu te tornarei desolada, e teus moradores serão motivo de assovio. Assim levareis a humilhação de meu povo.
