And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

“To you,”he said, “the knowledge of the hidden truths of the kingdom of God has been imparted, but to others in parables only, so that ‘though they have eyes they may not see, and though they have ears, they may not understand.’

Er aber sprach: Euch ist es gegeben, die Geheimnisse des Reiches Gottes zu wissen, den übrigen aber in Gleichnissen, auf daß sie sehend nicht sehen und hörend nicht verstehen.

Y él dijo: A vosotros es dado conocer los misterios del reino de Dios; mas á los otros por parábolas, para que viendo no vean, y oyendo no entiendan.

Ele disse: A vós é dado conhecer os mistérios do reino de Deus; mas aos outros por parábolas, para que vendo, não vejam; e ouvindo, não entendam.

Jesus disse-lhes: “Vós recebestes o privilégio de entender os mistérios do reino de Deus, mas os demais serão ensinados apenas por parábolas, desta forma 'embora vendo, eles não possam enxergar, e ouvindo não entendam'.
