Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

and said to them: “You brought this man before me charged with misleading the people; and yet, for my part, though I examined him before you, I did not find this man to blame for any of the things of which you accuse him;

sprach er zu ihnen: Ihr habt diesen Menschen zu mir gebracht, als mache er das Volk abwendig; und siehe, ich habe ihn vor euch verhört, und habe an diesem Menschen keine Schuld gefunden, betreffs dessen ihr ihn anklaget;

Les dijo: Me habéis presentado á éste por hombre que desvía al pueblo: y he aquí, preguntando yo delante de vosotros, no he hallado culpa alguna en este hombre de aquéllas de que le acusáis.

Vós me trouxestes a este homem, como que perverte o povo; e eis que eu, examinando-o em vossa presença, nenhuma culpa eu acho neste homem, das de que o acusais.

e disse-lhes: “Vós me trouxestes este homem como alguém que está levando o povo a se rebelar, mas vejam: eu, tendo-O interrogado diante de vós, não encontrei culpa alguma neste homem a respeito das coisas sobre as quais vós O acusastes.
