Be on your guard or your minds will become dulled by debauches or drunkenness or the anxieties of life, and 'that day' will close on you suddenly like a trap.

Y mirad por vosotros, que vuestros corazones no sean cargados de glotonería y embriaguez, y de los cuidados de esta vida, y venga de repente sobre vosotros aquel día.

E olhai por vós, para que vossos corações não venham a se encher de ressaca e embriaguez, e das preocupações d esta vida; e vos venha aquele dia de surpresa.

E tende cuidado de vós mesmos, para que vossos corações não estejam sobrecarregados com as consequências das orgias, da embriaguez e das preocupações da vida. Para que aquele dia não venha sobre vós repentinamente, como armadilha.
