In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

At that same time, moved to exultation by the Holy Spirit, Jesus said: “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that, though you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, you have revealed them to the childlike! Yes, Father, I thank you that this has seemed good to you.

In selbiger Stunde frohlockte Jesus im Geiste und sprach: Ich preise dich, Vater, Herr des Himmels und der Erde, daß du dies vor Weisen und Verständigen verborgen hast, und hast es Unmündigen geoffenbart. Ja, Vater, denn also war es wohlgefällig vor dir.

En aquella misma hora Jesús se alegró en espíritu, y dijo: Yo te alabo, oh Padre, Señor del cielo y de la tierra, que escondiste estas cosas á los sabios y entendidos, y las has revelado á los pequeños: así, Padre, porque así te agradó.

Naquela hora Jesus se alegrou em espírito, e disse: Graças te dou, o Pai, Senhor do céu e da terra; porque tu escondeste estas coisas aos sábios e instruídos, e as revelaste às crianças. Sim, Pai, porque assim lhe agradou diante de ti.

Naquele momento, Ele exultou no Espírito Santo, dizendo: “Eu te louvo, ó Pai, Senhor do céu e da terra, porque Tu ocultaste essas coisas dos que são sábios e cultos, mas as revelaste àqueles que são ignorantes como pequenas crianças. Sim, ó Pai, porque assim foi agradável à Tua vista.
