Know for a certainty that the Lord your God will no more drive out any of these nations from before you; but they shall be snares and traps unto you, and scourges in your sides, and thorns in your eyes, until ye perish from off this good land which the Lord your God hath given you.

so wisset bestimmt, daß Jehova, euer Gott, nicht fortfahren wird, diese Nationen vor euch auszutreiben; und sie werden euch zur Schlinge werden und zum Fallstrick, und zur Geißel in euren Seiten und zu Dornen in euren Augen, bis ihr umkommet aus diesem guten Lande, das Jehova, euer Gott, euch gegeben hat.

Sabed que Jehová vuestro Dios no echará más estas gentes delante de vosotros; antes os serán por lazo, y por tropiezo, y por azote para vuestros costados, y por espinas para vuestros ojos, hasta tanto que perezcáis de aquesta buena tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os ha dado.

Sabei que o SENHOR vosso Deus não expulsará mais estas nações diante de vós; antes vos serão por laço, e por tropeço, e por açoite para vossos lados, e por espinhos para vossos olhos, até que pereçais desta boa terra que o SENHOR vosso Deus vos deu.

então, sabei que, certamente, Yahweh, vosso Deus, não mais expulsará essas nações do meio de vós. Em vez disso, elas se tornarão um laço e armadilha para vós, açoites para as vossas costas, e espinhos nos vossos olhos, até que pereçais nesta boa terra que Yahweh, vosso Deus, vos deu.
