Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?

Jesus perceived that they were desirous to ask him, and he said unto them, Do ye inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, A little while, and ye behold me not, and again a little while, and ye shall see me?

Jesus saw that they were wanting to ask him a question, and said: “Are you trying to find out from one another what I meant by saying ‘In a little while you will not see me; and then in a little while you will see me indeed’?

Da erkannte Jesus, daß sie ihn fragen wollten, und sprach zu ihnen: Forschet ihr darüber untereinander, daß ich sagte: Über ein Kleines, und ihr schauet mich nicht, und wiederum über ein Kleines, und ihr werdet mich sehen? -

Y conoció Jesús que le querían preguntar, y díjoles: ¿Preguntáis entre vosotros de esto que dije: Un poquito, y no me veréis, y otra vez un poquito, y me veréis?

Conheceu pois Jesus que lhe queriam perguntar, e disse-lhes: Perguntais entre vós sobre isto que disse: Um pouco, e não me vereis; e mais um pouco, e me vereis?

Jesus viu que queriam interrogá-Lo, e lhes disse: "Perguntais entre vós a respeito disso que Eu vos disse: 'Dentro de um pouco de tempo, vós não Me vereis; e depois um pouco de mais de tempo, de novo Me vereis'?
