Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?

“Have I been all this time among you,”said Jesus, “and yet you, Philip, have not recognized me? The person who has seen me has seen the Father, how can you say, then, ‘Show us the Father’?

Jesus spricht zu ihm: So lange Zeit bin ich bei euch, und du hast mich nicht erkannt, Philippus? Wer mich gesehen hat, hat den Vater gesehen, und wie sagst du: Zeige uns den Vater? -

Jesús le dice: ¿Tanto tiempo ha que estoy con vosotros, y no me has conocido, Felipe? El que me ha visto, ha visto al Padre; ¿cómo, pues, dices tú: Muéstranos el Padre?

Jesus lhe disse: Tanto tempo há que estou convosco, e ainda não me tens conhecido, Filipe? Quem a mim tem visto, já tem visto ao Pai; e como dizes tu: Mostra-nos ao Pai?

Jesus disse-lhe: "Estou há tanto tempo convosco, e ainda não Me conheces, Filipe? Quem vê a Mim, vê o Pai; como podes Me dizer: ‘Mostra-nos o Pai’?
