O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.

Jehova, meine Stärke und mein Hort, und meine Zuflucht am Tage der Bedrängnis! Zu dir werden Nationen kommen von den Enden der Erde und sprechen: Nur Lüge haben unsere Väter ererbt, nichtige Götter; und unter ihnen ist keiner, der etwas nützt.

Oh Jehová, fortaleza mía, y fuerza mía, y refugio mío en el tiempo de la aflicción; á ti vendrán gentes desde los extremos de la tierra, y dirán: Ciertamente mentira poseyeron nuestros padres, vanidad, y no hay en ellos provecho.

Ó SENHOR, fortaleza minha, e força minha, e meu refúgio no tempo da aflição; a ti virão nações desde os confins da terra, e dirão: Certamente o que nossos pais possuíam era mentira e inutilidade; não havia nessas coisas proveito algum.

Yahweh, Tu és minha fortaleza e meu refúgio, meu lugar seguro no dia da angústia. As nações virão a Ti dos confins da terra e dirão: 'Certamente, os nossos ancestrais herdaram mentira, vaidade e coisas que não servem para nada'.
