And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Those descendants of Levi, who are from time to time appointed to the priesthood, are directed to collect tithes from the people in accordance with the law — that is from their own kindred, although they also are descended from Abraham.

Und zwar haben die von den Söhnen Levi, welche das Priestertum empfangen, ein Gebot, den Zehnten von dem Volke zu nehmen nach dem Gesetz, das ist von ihren Brüdern, wiewohl sie aus den Lenden Abrahams gekommen sind.

Y ciertamente los que de los hijos de Leví toman el sacerdocio, tienen mandamiento de tomar del pueblo los diezmos según la ley, es á saber, de sus hermanos aunque también hayan salido de los lomos de Abraham.
