For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

For indeed we have had good tidings preached unto us, even as also they: but the word of hearing did not profit them, because it was not united by faith with them that heard.

For we have had the good news told us just as they had. But the message which they heard did them no good, since they did not share the faith of those who were attentive to it.

Denn auch uns ist eine gute Botschaft verkündigt worden, gleichwie auch jenen; aber das Wort der Verkündigung nützte jenen nicht, weil es bei denen, die es hörten, nicht mit dem Glauben vermischt war.

Porque también á nosotros se nos ha evangelizado como á ellos; mas no les aprovechó el oir la palabra á los que la oyeron sin mezclar fe.

Pois também a nós foi pregado o evangelho, assim como a eles; mas a palavra da pregação nada lhes aproveitou, porque não estava unida pela fé naqueles que a ouviram.

Pois, recebemos as boas novas assim como eles, mas a mensagem não beneficia aqueles que a ouviram sem nela depositar a sua fé.
