It was faith that enabled Noah, after he had received the divine warning about what could not then be foreseen, to build, in reverent obedience, an ark in which to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world, and became possessed of that righteousness which follows on faith.

Durch Glauben bereitete Noah, als er einen göttlichen Ausspruch über das, was noch nicht zu sehen war, empfangen hatte, von Furcht bewegt, eine Arche zur Rettung seines Hauses, durch welche er die Welt verurteilte und Erbe der Gerechtigkeit wurde, die nach dem Glauben ist.

Por la fe Noé, habiendo recibido respuesta de cosas que aun no se veían, con temor aparejó el arca en que su casa se salvase: por la cual fe condenó al mundo, y fué hecho heredero de la justicia que es por la fe.

Pela fé, Noé, divinamente advertido das coisas que ainda se não viam, temeu; e, para salvamento de sua família construiu a arca. Por meio da fé ele condenou o mundo, e foi feito herdeiro da justiça segundo a fé.

Foi pela fé que Noé, sendo instruído por Deus sobre coisas que ainda não se viam, com reverência a Deus, construiu a arca para salvar sua casa. Fazendo isso, condenou o mundo e se tornou herdeiro da justiça que vem por meio da fé.
