Und Serubbabel, der Sohn Schealtiels, und Josua, der Sohn Jozadaks, der Hohepriester, und der ganze Überrest des Volkes hörten auf die Stimme Jehovas, ihres Gottes, und auf die Worte des Propheten Haggai, so wie Jehova, ihr Gott, ihn gesandt hatte; und das Volk fürchtete sich vor Jehova.

Y oyó Zorobabel hijo de Sealtiel, y Josué hijo de Josadac, gran sacerdote, y todo el demás pueblo, la voz de Jehová su Dios, y las palabras del profeta Haggeo, como lo había enviado Jehová el Dios de ellos; y temió el pueblo delante de Jehová.

Então Zorobabel filho de Sealtiel, Josué filho de Jeozadaque, sumo sacerdote, e todo o resto do povo, ouviram a voz do SENHOR seu Deus, e as palavras do profeta Ageu, como o SENHOR Deus deles havia o enviado; e o povo temeu diante do SENHOR.

Então Zorobabel, filho de Sealtiel, e o sumo sacerdote Josué, filho de Jozadaque, junto com o remanescente do povo, obedeceram à voz de Yahweh, seu Deus, e as palavras do profeta Ageu, porque Yahweh, seu Deus, o tinha enviado. As pessoas temeram a face de Yahweh.
