Und als die Tage Israels herannahten, daß er sterben sollte, da rief er seinen Sohn Joseph und sprach zu ihm: Wenn ich doch Gnade gefunden habe in deinen Augen, so lege doch deine Hand unter meine Hüfte und erweise Güte und Treue an mir: begrabe mich doch nicht in Ägypten!

Y llegáronse los días de Israel para morir, y llamó á José su hijo, y le dijo: Si he hallado ahora gracia en tus ojos, ruégote que pongas tu mano debajo de mi muslo, y harás conmigo misericordia y verdad; ruégote que no me entierres en Egipto;

E achegaram-se os dias de Israel para morrer, e chamou a José seu filho, e lhe disse: Se achei agora favor em teus olhos, rogo-te que ponhas tua mão debaixo de minha coxa, e farás comigo misericórdia e verdade; rogo-te que não me enterres no Egito;

Quando o tempo da morte de Israel se aproximava, ele chamou seu filho José e lhe disse: "Se agora eu encontrar favor em ti, coloca a tua mão embaixo de minha coxa e mostra-me fidelidade e confiabilidade. Por favor, não me enterres no Egito.
