And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the land, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house.

Da sprach Jakob zu Simeon und zu Levi: Ihr habt mich in Trübsal gebracht, indem ihr mich stinkend machet unter den Bewohnern des Landes, unter den Kanaanitern und unter den Perisitern. Ich aber bin ein zählbares Häuflein, und sie werden sich wider mich versammeln und mich schlagen, und ich werde vertilgt werden, ich und mein Haus.

Entonces dijo Jacob á Simeón y á Leví: Habéisme turbado con hacerme abominable á los moradores de aquesta tierra, el Cananeo y el Pherezeo; y teniendo yo pocos hombres, juntarse han contra mí, y me herirán, y seré destruído yo y mi casa.

Então disse Jacó a Simeão e a Levi: Vós me perturbastes em fazer-me detestável aos moradores desta terra, os cananeus e os ferezeus; e tendo eu poucos homens, se juntarão contra mim, e me ferirão, e serei destruído eu e minha casa.

Jacó disse a Simeão e a Levi: "Vós causastes grandes problemas para mim, fazendo com que os habitantes desta terra, cananeus e perizeus, me odeiem. Como somos em pouco número, se eles se juntarem para me atacar, irão destruir a mim e a minha casa".
