Du aber, Esra, bestelle nach der Weisheit deines Gottes, die bei dir ist, Richter und Rechtspfleger, welche alles Volk richten sollen, das jenseit des Stromes ist, alle, welche die Gesetze deines Gottes kennen; und dem, der sie nicht kennt, sollt ihr sie kundtun.

Y tú, Esdras, conforme á la sabiduría de tu Dios que tienes, pon jueces y gobernadores, que gobiernen á todo el pueblo que está del otro lado del río, á todos los que tienen noticia de las leyes de tu Dios; y al que no la tuviere, le enseñaréis.

E tu, Esdras, conforme a sabedoria de teu Deus que está contigo, põe oficiais e juízes, que julguem a todo o povo que está além do rio, a todos os que conhecem as Leis de teu Deus; e ao que não as conhecerem, tu lhes ensinará.

Esdras, com a sabedoria que Deus tem te concedido, nomeie magistrados e juízes para servirem a todas as pessoas dalém do rio Eufrates, isto é, todos os que conhecem as leis do vosso Deus. E ensina-as aos que não as conhecem.
