Und die Kinder Israel sprachen zu ihnen: Wären wir doch im Lande Ägypten durch die Hand Jehovas gestorben, als wir bei den Fleischtöpfen saßen, als wir Brot aßen bis zur Sättigung! Denn ihr habt uns in diese Wüste herausgeführt, um diese ganze Versammlung Hungers sterben zu lassen.

Y decíanles los hijos de Israel: Ojalá hubiéramos muerto por mano de Jehová en la tierra de Egipto, cuando nos sentábamos á las ollas de las carnes, cuando comíamos pan en hartura; pues nos habéis sacado á este desierto, para matar de hambre á toda esta multitud.

E diziam-lhes os filhos de Israel: Bom seria se tivéssemos morrido por meio do SENHOR na terra do Egito, quando nos sentávamos junto às panelas das carnes, quando comíamos pão em fartura; pois nos tirastes a este deserto, para matar de fome a toda esta multidão.

Os israelitas lhes disseram: "Se ao menos tivéssemos morrido pela mão de Yahweh na terra do Egito, enquanto nos assentávamos perto das panelas de carne e comíamos pão até nos fartarmos? Pois vós nos trouxestes para este deserto, para matar toda a nossa comunidade de fome".
