Und der König sprach zu der Königin Esther: In der Burg Susan haben die Juden fünfhundert Mann und die zehn Söhne Hamans getötet und umgebracht; was mögen sie in den übrigen Landschaften des Königs getan haben! Doch was ist deinen Bitte? und sie soll dir gewährt werden. Und was ist noch dein Begehr? und es soll geschehen.

Y dijo el rey á la reina Esther: En Susán, capital del reino, han muerto los Judíos y destruído á quinientos hombres, y á diez hijos de Amán; ¿qué habrán hecho en las otras provincias del rey? ¿Cuál pues es tu petición, y te será concedida? ¿ó qué más es tu demanda, y será hecho?

E o rei disse à rainha Ester: Na fortaleza de Susã, os judeus mataram e destruíram a quinhentos homens, e aos dez filhos de Hamã; nas demais províncias do rei, o que teriam feito? Qual pois é tua petição, para que te seja concedida? Ou qual mais é teu pedido, para que te seja feito?

"Os judeus mataram quinhentos homens na fortaleza de Susã, incluindo os dez filhos de Hamã. O que, então, terão feito no resto das províncias do rei? Agora, qual é a tua petição? Ela te será concedida. Qual é o teu pedido? Isso lhe será concedido".
