Então Belsazar deu ordens, e vestiram a Daniel de púrpura, puseram uma corrente de ouro em seu pescoço, e anunciaram que ele seria o terceiro líder no reino.

Então, Belsazar deu uma ordem e eles vestiram Daniel com púrpura. Uma corrente de ouro foi colocada em seu pescoço e o rei fez uma proclamação sobre ele, de que teria a autoridade como o terceiro maior governante do reino.
