And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this? or why look ye so earnestly on us, as though by our own power or holiness we had made this man to walk?

On seeing this, Peter said to the people: “People of Israel, why are you surprised at this? And why do you stare at us, as though we, by any power or piety of our own, had enabled this man to walk?

Als aber Petrus es sah, antwortete er dem Volke: Männer von Israel, was verwundert ihr euch hierüber, oder was sehet ihr unverwandt auf uns, als hätten wir aus eigener Kraft oder Frömmigkeit ihn wandeln gemacht?

Y viendo esto Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ó ¿por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros, como si con nuestra virtud ó piedad hubiésemos hecho andar á éste?

Quando Pedro viu isso , respondeu ao povo: “Homens israelitas, por que vos maravilhais disto? Ou por que vós olhais tão atentamente para nós, como se por nosso próprio poder ou devoção divina o tivéssemos feito andar?

Quando Pedro viu isso, questionou-lhes: "Vós, homens de Israel, por que vos maravilhais? Por que fixais vossos olhos sobre nós, como se nós o tivéssemos feito andar por nosso próprio poder e piedade?
