But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:

This, however, I do acknowledge to you, that it is as a believer in the cause which they call heretical, that I worship the God of my ancestors. At the same time, I believe everything that is in accordance with the law and that is written in the prophets;

Aber dies bekenne ich dir, daß ich nach dem Wege, den sie eine Sekte nennen, also dem Gott meiner Väter diene, indem ich allem glaube, was in dem Gesetz und in den Propheten geschrieben steht,

Mas isso admito a ti, que, de acordo com o caminho que eles chamam de seita, neste mesmo caminho eu sirvo ao Deus de nossos antepassados. Sou fiel a tudo o que está na lei e nos escritos dos profetas.
