As we had heard that some of our number had upset you by their assertions, and unsettled your minds — without instructions from us —

Weil wir gehört haben, daß etliche, die aus unserer Mitte ausgegangen sind, euch mit Worten beunruhigt haben, indem sie eure Seelen verstören und sagen, ihr müßtet beschnitten werden und das Gesetz halten denen wir keine Befehle gegeben haben,

Por cuanto hemos oído que algunos que han salido de nosotros, os han inquietado con palabras, trastornando vuestras almas, mandando circuncidaros y guardar la ley, á los cuales no mandamos;

Dado que ouvimos que alguns dos que saíram de nós vos perturbaram com palavras, e causaram incômodo a vossas almas, aos quais não mandamos;

Ouvimos que certos homens, aos quais não havíamos dado nenhuma ordem, se desviaram de nós, e têm-vos perturbado com palavras, confundindo vossas almas.
