And the woman answered and said, As thy soul liveth, my lord the king, none can turn to the right hand or to the left from ought that my lord the king hath spoken: for thy servant Joab, he bade me, and he put all these words in the mouth of thine handmaid:

Und der König sprach: Ist die Hand Joabs mit dir in diesem allem? Und das Weib antwortete und sprach: So wahr deine Seele lebt, mein Herr König, wenn zur Rechten oder zur Linken zu weichen ist von allem, was mein Herr, der König, redet! Denn dein Knecht Joab, er hat es mir geboten, und er hat deiner Magd alle diese Worte in den Mund gelegt.

Y el rey dijo: ¿No ha sido la mano de Joab contigo en todas estas cosas? Y la mujer respondió y dijo: Vive tu alma, rey señor mío, que no hay que apartarse á derecha ni á izquierda de todo lo que mi señor el rey ha hablado: porque tu siervo Joab, él me mandó, y él puso en boca de tu sierva todas estas palabras;

E o rei disse: Não foi a mão de Joabe contigo em todas estas coisas? E a mulher respondeu e disse: Vive tua alma, rei senhor meu, que não há que desviar-se à direita nem à esquerda de tudo o que meu senhor o rei falou: porque teu servo Joabe, ele me mandou, e ele pôs na boca de tua serva todas estas palavras.

O rei disse: "Acaso não está a mão de Joabe contigo em tudo isso?". A mulher respondeu, dizendo: "Assim como tu vives, ó rei, meu senhor, ninguém pode escapar, para a direita nem para a esquerda, de nada que o rei, meu senhor, tenha dito. Foi o teu servo Joabe que me mandou e me disse para falar estas coisas que tua serva disse.
