And when the children of Ammon saw that they stank before David, the children of Ammon sent and hired the Syrians of Beth–rehob, and the Syrians of Zoba, twenty thousand footmen, and of king Maacah a thousand men, and of Ish–tob twelve thousand men.

And when the children of Ammon saw that they were become odious to David, the children of Ammon sent and hired the Syrians of Beth-rehob, and the Syrians of Zobah, twenty thousand footmen, and the king of Maacah with a thousand men, and the men of Tob twelve thousand men.

Als nun die Kinder Ammon sahen, daß sie sich bei David stinkend gemacht hatten, da sandten die Kinder Ammon hin und dingten die Syrer von Beth-Rechob und die Syrer von Zoba, zwanzigtausend Mann zu Fuß, und den König von Maaka, tausend Mann, und die Männer von Tob, zwölftausend Mann.

Y viendo los hijos de Ammón que se habían hecho odiosos á David, enviaron los hijos de Ammón y tomaron á sueldo á los Siros de la casa de Rehob, y á los Siros de Soba, veinte mil hombres de á pie: y del rey de Maaca mil hombres, y de Is-tob doce mil hombres.

E vendo os filhos de Amom que se fizeram odiosos a Davi, enviaram os filhos de Amom e alugaram aos sírios da casa de Reobe, e aos sírios de Zobá, vinte mil homens a pé: e do rei de Maaca mil homens, e de Tobe doze mil homens.

Quando os amonitas perceberam que se tornaram odiosos perante Davi, enviaram mensageiros e contrataram vinte mil soldados dos arameus, de Bete-Reobe e Zobá, mil homens do rei de Maaca e doze mil homens de Tobe.
