But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

Da sprach Gehasi, der Knabe Elisas, des Mannes Gottes: Siehe, mein Herr hat Naaman, diesen Syrer, verschont, daß er nicht aus seiner Hand genommen, was er gebracht hat; so wahr Jehova lebt, wenn ich ihm nicht nachlaufe und etwas von ihm nehme!

Entonces Giezi, criado de Eliseo el varón de Dios, dijo entre sí: He aquí mi señor estorbó á este Siro Naamán, no tomando de su mano las cosas que había traído. Vive Jehová, que correré yo tras él, y tomaré de él alguna cosa.

Então Geazi, criado de Eliseu o homem de Deus, disse entre si: Eis que meu senhor poupou a este sírio Naamã, não tomando de sua mão as coisas que havia trazido. Vive o SENHOR, que correrei eu atrás dele, e tomarei dele alguma coisa.

Quando Naamã já ia a uma pequena distância, Geazi, servo de Eliseu, o homem de Deus, disse consigo mesmo: "Vê, meu senhor isentou a Naamã, o sírio, não recebendo das suas mãos os presentes que ele trouxe. Como vive Yahweh, eu correrei após ele e receberei dele alguma coisa".
