For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath provoked very many.

for I know your readiness, of which I glory on your behalf to them of Macedonia, that Achaia hath been prepared for a year past; and your zeal hath stirred up very many of them.

I know, of course, your willingness to help, and I am always boasting of it to the Macedonians. I tell them that you in Greece have been ready for a year past; and it was really your zeal that stimulated most of them.

Denn ich kenne eure Geneigtheit, deren ich mich eurethalben gegen die Macedonier rühme, daß Achaja seit vorigem Jahre bereit gewesen ist; und der von euch ausgegangene Eifer hat viele angereizt.

Pues conozco vuestro pronto ánimo, del cual me glorío yo entre los de Macedonia, que Acaya está apercibida desde el año pasado; y vuestro ejemplo ha estimulado á muchos.

Porque eu sei a prontidão de vosso ânimo, do qual eu me orgulho de vós para os Macedônios, que Acaia já está pronta desde o ano passado; e o zelo que começou de vós tem estimulado a muitos.

Conheço vosso desejo e dele me orgulhei diante do povo da Macedônia. Eu lhes disse que a Acaia estava se preparando desde o ano passado. Vosso zelo motivou a maioria deles à ação.
