And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the Lord God of their fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath he brought all this evil upon them.

Und man wird sagen: Darum, daß sie Jehova, den Gott ihrer Väter, der sie aus dem Lande Ägypten herausgeführt hat, verlassen und andere Götter angenommen und sich vor ihnen niedergebeugt und ihnen gedient haben; darum hat er all dieses Unglück über sie gebracht.

Y se responderá: Por cuanto dejaron á Jehová Dios de sus padres, el cual los sacó de la tierra de Egipto, y han abrazado dioses ajenos, y los adoraron y sirvieron: por eso él ha traído todo este mal sobre ellos.

E se responderá: Por quanto deixaram ao SENHOR Deus de seus pais, o qual os tirou da terra do Egito, e abraçaram deuses alheios, e os adoraram e serviram: por isso ele trouxe todo este mal sobre eles.

Outros responderão: 'Porque eles abandonaram Yahweh, seu Deus, que tirou seus ancestrais da terra do Egito, e se apegaram a outros deuses, e se curvaram a eles e os adoraram. Essa é a razão pela qual Yahweh trouxe todo esse desastre sobre eles'".
