Y derribaron delante de él los altares de los Baales, é hizo pedazos las imágenes del sol, que estaban puestas encima; despedazó también los bosques, y las esculturas y estatuas de fundición, y desmenuzólas, y esparció el polvo sobre los sepulcros de los que las habían sacrificado.

O povo quebrou os altares dos baalins na presença dele; despedaçou os altares de incenso que estavam sobre ele. Quebrou os postes-ídolos e as imagens de escultura e lançou fora as figuras de metal em pedaços, até ficarem como pó. Espalhou o pó sobre as sepulturas dos que lhes haviam sacrifícado.
