But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king’s sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

Aber Josabath, die Tochter des Königs, nahm Joas, den Sohn Ahasjas, und stahl ihn weg aus der Mitte der Königssöhne, die getötet wurden, und sie tat ihn und seine Amme in das Schlafgemach. Und so verbarg ihn Josabath, die Tochter des Königs Joram, das Weib Jojadas, des Priesters (denn sie war die Schwester Ahasjas) vor Athalja, so daß sie ihn nicht tötete.

Empero Josabeth, hija del rey, tomó á Joas hijo de Ochôzías, y arrebatólo de entre los hijos del rey, que mataban, y guardóle á él y á su ama en la cámara de los lechos. Así pues lo escondió Josabeth, hija del rey Joram, mujer de Joiada el sacerdote, (porque ella era hermana de Ochôzías), de delante de Athalía, y no lo mataron.

Porém Jeosebate, filha do rei, tomou a Joás filho de Acazias, e tirou-o dentre os filhos do rei, que foram mortos, e guardou a ele e a sua ama na câmara dos leitos. Assim pois o escondeu Jeosebate, filha do rei Jeorão, mulher de Joiada o sacerdote, (porque ela era irmã de Acazias), de diante de Atalia, e não o mataram.

Mas Jeosabeate, uma filha do rei, tomou Joás, filho de Acazias, e o levou do meio dos filhos do rei que foram mortos. Ela o colocou em um quarto com sua ama. Assim, Jeosabeate, uma filha do rei Jeorão, a esposa de Joiada, o sacerdote (pois ela era irmã de Acazias), escondeu-o de Atalia, para que Atalia não o matasse.
