And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominable idols out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from mount Ephraim, and renewed the altar of the Lord, that was before the porch of the Lord.

Und als Asa diese Worte und die Weissagung Odeds, des Propheten, hörte, faßte er Mut; und er schaffte die Greuel weg aus dem ganzen Lande Juda und Benjamin und aus den Städten, die er vom Gebirge Ephraim eingenommen hatte, und er erneuerte den Altar Jehovas, der vor der Halle Jehovas stand.

Y como oyó Asa las palabras y profecía de Obed profeta, fué confortado, y quitó las abominaciones de toda la tierra de Judá y de Benjamín, y de las ciudades que él había tomado en el monte de Ephraim; y reparó el altar de Jehová que estaba delante del pórtico de Jehová.

E quando ouviu Asa as palavras e profecia de Obede profeta, foi confortado, e tirou as abominações de toda a terra de Judá e de Benjamim, e das cidades que ele havia tomado no monte de Efraim; e reparou o altar do SENHOR que estava diante do pórtico do SENHOR.

Quando Asa ouviu essas palavras, a profecia de Odede, o profeta, tomou coragem e se desfez de todas as coisas repugnantes da terra de Judá e Benjamim, e das cidades que ele havia conquistado da região montanhosa de Efraim; reconstruiu o altar de Yahweh, que estava em frente ao pórtico da Casa de Yahweh.
