Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more.

Further, friends, we beg and urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus to carry out more fully than ever — as indeed you are already doing — all that you have heard from us as to what your daily life must be, if it is to please God.

Übrigens nun, Brüder, bitten und ermahnen wir euch in dem Herrn Jesus, wie ihr von uns empfangen habt, in welcher Weise ihr wandeln und Gott gefallen sollt, wie ihr auch wandelt, daß ihr reichlicher zunehmet.

RESTA pues, hermanos, que os roguemos y exhortemos en el Señor Jesús, que de la manera que fuisteis enseñados de nosotros de cómo os conviene andar, y agradar á Dios, así vayáis creciendo.

Portanto, irmãos, no restante, vos rogamos e exortamos no Senhor Jesus, que, assim como recebestes de nós como deveis andar e agradar a Deus , como já estais andando, que façais assim cada vez mais.

Finalmente, irmãos, nós vos pedimos e exortamos no Senhor Jesus que, assim como recebestes nossas instruções sobre como deveis andar e satisfazer a Deus, também neste caminho andai, para que façais ainda mais.
