Da antwortete Saul und sprach: Bin ich nicht ein Benjaminiter, von einem der kleinsten Stämme Israels, und ist nicht meine Familie die geringste unter allen Familien des Stammes Benjamin? Und warum redest du dergleichen Worte zu mir?

Y Saúl respondió, y dijo: ¿No soy yo hijo de Benjamín, de las más pequeñas tribus de Israel? Y mi familia ¿no es la más pequeña de todas las familias de la tribu de Benjamín? ¿por qué pues me has dicho cosa semejante?

E Saul respondeu, e disse: Não sou eu filho de Benjamim, das menores tribos de Israel? e minha família não é a mais pequena de todas as famílias da tribo de Benjamim? por que pois me disseste coisa semelhante?

Saul respondeu, dizendo: "Não sou eu um benjamita, da menor tribo de Israel? O meu clã, não é o clã menos importante da tribo de Benjamim? Por que, então, estás falando dessa maneira comigo?".
