Und sie sandten hin und versammelten alle Fürsten der Philister und sprachen: Sendet die Lade des Gottes Israels fort, daß sie an ihren Ort zurückkehre und mich und mein Volk nicht töte. Denn es war eine tödliche Bestürzung in der ganzen Stadt; die Hand Gottes war sehr schwer daselbst.

Y enviaron á juntar todos los príncipes de los Filisteos, diciendo: Despachad el arca del Dios de Israel, y tórnese á su lugar, y no mate á mí ni á mi pueblo: porque había quebrantamiento de muerte en toda la ciudad, y la mano de Dios se había allí agravado.

Então, eles mandaram reunir todos os governantes dos filisteus, e lhes disseram: "Mandem embora a Arca do Deus de Israel, e deixai-a retornar ao seu lugar, para que não mate a nós e ao nosso povo". Pois havia pânico mortal por toda a cidade, e a mão de Deus foi muito pesada lá.
