David aber hatte gesagt: Fürwahr, umsonst habe ich alles behütet, was diesem Menschen in der Wüste gehörte, so daß nicht das Geringste vermißt wurde von allem, was sein ist; und er hat mir Böses für Gutes vergolten!

Y David había dicho: Ciertamente en vano he guardado todo lo que éste tiene en el desierto, sin que nada le haya faltado de todo cuanto es suyo; y él me ha vuelto mal por bien.

E Davi havia dito: Certamente em vão guardei tudo o que este tem no deserto, sem que nada lhe tenha faltado de tudo quanto é seu; e ele me devolveu mal por bem.

Davi disse: "Certamente, não adiantou eu ter guardado todas os pertences desse homem no deserto. Nada foi perdido de tudo quanto lhe pertencia, e me retornou o bem com o mal.
