Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.

Again, those of you who are married men should live considerately with their wives, showing due regard to their sex, as physically weaker than their own, and not forgetting that they share with you in the gift of life. Then you will be able to pray without hindrance.

Ihr Männer gleicherweise, wohnet bei ihnen nach Erkenntnis, als bei einem schwächeren Gefäße, dem weiblichen, ihnen Ehre gebend, als die auch Miterben der Gnade des Lebens sind, auf daß eure Gebete nicht verhindert werden.

Vosotros maridos, semejantemente, habitad con ellas según ciencia, dando honor á la mujer como á vaso más frágil, y como á herederas juntamente de la gracia de la vida; para que vuestras oraciones no sean impedidas.

Semelhantemente vós maridos, convivei com elas com entendimento, dando honra à mulher, como a vaso mais fraco, como sendo elas e vós juntamente herdeiros da graça da vida; a fim de que as vossas orações não sejam impedidas.

Da mesma maneira, vós, maridos, deveis viver com vossas esposas, entendendo que a mulher é o vaso mais frágil, honrando-as como co-herdeiras do dom da vida, para que não sejam interrompidas vossas orações.
