For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

For Christ himself died to atone for sins once for all — the good on behalf of the bad — that he might bring you to God; his body being put to death, but his spirit entering on new life.

Denn es hat ja Christus einmal für Sünden gelitten, der Gerechte für die Ungerechten, auf daß er uns zu Gott führe, getötet nach dem Fleische, aber lebendig gemacht nach dem Geiste,

Porque también Cristo padeció una vez por los pecados, el justo por los injustos, para llevarnos á Dios, siendo á la verdad muerto en la carne, pero vivificado en espíritu;

Porque também Cristo morreu uma vez pelos pecados, o justo pelos injustos; para que vos levasse a Deus. Ele estava , de fato, morto na carne, mas vivificado pelo Espírito,

Porque Cristo também sofreu, pelos pecados, uma única vez. Aquele que é justo sofreu pelos injustos, para vos levar a Deus. Ele foi morto na carne, mas ressuscitou no Espírito.
