Therefore now, Lord God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

Und nun, Jehova, Gott Israels, halte deinem Knechte David, meinem Vater, was du zu ihm geredet hast, indem du sprachst: Es soll dir nicht an einem Manne fehlen vor meinem Angesicht, der da sitze auf dem Throne Israels, wenn nur deine Söhne auf ihren Weg achthaben, daß sie vor mir wandeln, so wie du vor mir gewandelt hast.

Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.

Agora, pois, SENHOR Deus de Israel, cumpre a teu servo Davi meu pai o que lhe prometeste, dizendo: Não faltará homem de ti diante de mim, que se sente no trono de Israel, com tal que teus filhos guardem seu caminho, que andem diante de mim como tu tens andado diante de mim.

Agora, Yahweh, Deus de Israel, cumpre o que prometeste ao Teu servo Davi, meu pai, quando disseste: 'Não te faltará sucessor diante de Mim que se assente no trono de Israel, contanto que os teus descendentes tenham cuidado de andar diante de Mim, como tu andaste diante de Mim'.
